Day 1

Arrival at Ålesund airport in the morning. From the airport you will have a private boat transfer to Volda, along the way enjoying the view of the iconic Sunnmøre Alpes on one side and the North Sea on the other (1,5 hour boatride). The trails in Volda is a combination of very nice and loamy trails and alpine ridges, and offers quite a bit of flexibility. The trail in Sandane is one of the most iconic trails along the fjords in Norway and follows a ridge up to the summit of Haugsvarden, from where there is an amazing fjordview and a truly fantastic trail for the descent.

Back down after the ride we will jump in the car and drive to our first accommoadtion at Fjærland Fjordstove, idyllically located right next to the spectacular Fjærlandfjord.  (drivetime from Volda to Fjærland approx 2,5 hours). Read more about Fjærland Fjordstove here: https://fjaerlandhotel.com/
