Itinerary

Day 1:

Meet-up at the historic Fleischer’s Hotel in Voss which is located at the platform of the train station. We enjoy a delicious dinner and the guide for the tour will go through the program for the coming days.

Day 2:

After breakfast we jump on the train for the trailhead of the day. The terrain offers fantastic skiing, and we can ski all the way down to the lodging of the day, Brandseth mountain lodge.

Distance: 18 km
Vertical meters: 1300 meters

Day 3:

From Brandseth we have another day of skiing over the mountains, with amazing descents along the way. Our final descent of the day ends at Jordalen, a mountain valley surrounded by fantastis ski-terrain. We will be picked up at Jordalen and get a ride down to the Nærøy-valley and down to the fjord.  When we get down to the fjord we get picked up by the local cruiseboat Vision of the Fjords, which probably offers the most scenic afterski in the world! We jump off the boat at Flåm where we will be lodged at Fretheim Hotel.

Distance: 22 km
Vertical climb: 1700 meters

Day 4:

We head out from the hotel and stroll over to the railway where the historic Flåmsbanen will bring us all the way back up to the mountains. Once we get up we check in at Vatnahalsen mountain lodge, and head out in the mountains to some of the magnificent skiing around the hotel.

Distance: 10 – 15 km
Vertical climb: 1000 – 1500 meters

Day 5:

Another day of skiing out from the hotel entrance. We choose some of the best tours around the hotel, and ski back to the hotel for another beautiful night in the mountains.

Distance: 10 – 15 km
Vertical climb: 1000 – 1500 meters

Day 6:

Today we will be moving to Upsete – another location you can only reach by train or skis. At Upsete we are at another location with fantastic skiing right outside the door of the lodge. And at Upsete Mountain Lodge we can promise a unique lodging in the mountains!

Distance: 10 – 15 km
Vertical climb: 1000 – 1500 meters

Day 7:

We wake up to another day where we can mount our skis at the hotel’s doorstep! Today we will ski over to Myrdal, a tour you will definitely remember! We finish the skiing in time for jumping on the train towards Oslo or Bergen.

Distance: 14 km
Vertical meters: 1150 meters
