Today we will ride in the Calimani Mountains National Park. After a hard, but relatively short climb on a forestry road we will reach the ridge. Day 4: Bucovina’s Mountains

After a short transfer by car we will be dropped-off at approx. 1500 m in altitude. After a few ups and downs on the ridge, passing near mysterious rocks, we will descend on a flowy and fast trail, through a virgin forest with centuries old trees, part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Day 5: Rodna Mountains National Park

After a car transfer we will start the ride in Prislop Pass (1400 m), then climb to Gargalau Peak (2158 m) on gravel/earth paths and single trails. Last few hundred meters will involve a bit of pushing and carrying the bike. After conquering the summit, a long descent on natural single trails will take us back in the valley, passing near the longest waterfall in Romania. The Rodnei National Park is the largest and highest mountain range in the northern part of the Carpathians, with peaks that reach more than 2300 m.

25km +800 m/-1300m

Day 6: Bistrita trails

We will spend the day riding on the flowy trails near Bistrita city. Both man made and natural flowy trails through the forest. Will have a lot of fun on a variation of trails with lots of flow, jumps, drops, sharp curves, designed and shaped by local riders. The trails hosted races in the national Enduro Cup championship and other events.

Day 7: Bistrita trails and departure

We get up for a morning ride in Bistrita, enjoying the last bits of trail before we jump in the van to the airport. Together with our luggage we check-in a lot of new memories from a spectacular week of riding.
